Trucks

Our self owned trucks include Tippers, Grabs, Rigids and Artic.  These allow us to be even more reliable and sufficient when removing waste material.

All Shanowen Plant Hire Trucks are fully insured and fitted with a GPS tracking system.  Our drivers are trained to the highest level of service and professionalism with up to date driver CPC’s.   We are based off exit 5 (M50) in The Ward, Dublin 11, with easy access to North or South of the city, we can be with you within the hour.

Tipper Trucks

Our 8 wheeler Tipper Trucks are ideal for the removal or haulage of spoil/concrete etc.

The trucks themselves have a Tipper body and can hold a load capacity of 9 cubic metres. Tipper trucks can be used where there is already machinery onsite to load the truck.  All our loads are fully traceable within EPA guidelines. WPC and haulage licence for all of Ireland.

Grab Trucks

We have a number of Grab Trucks from the Volvo and Scania range. The grab truck can remove waste material directly and load it onto the truck which is a great alternative to the expense of hiring plant to load. The grab truck can be used for a site where a skip cannot be placed/left overnight. These trucks can take waste from over walls/fences. They do the same job as a Tipper Truck but have the added advantage of being able to grab the load as well. All material removed off site is carried under our National Waste Collection Permit. The grab is also handy for the delivery of Topsoil or Hardcore, where the customer might need it lifted over a wall / hedge.

Artic and Rigid Trucks

Shanowen Plant Hire have a range of Artic and Rigid Trucks to suit your haulage needs, hauling in excess of 30 tonnes.

We have bulk and low loader trailers as attachments to our Artic Fleet.

With current Haulage Licence and WCP for all of Ireland we have a truck to suit your needs.
